As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Handle, wash, and store kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils properly.
* Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools.
* Ensure all cleaning tasks comply with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
* Basic knowledge of food safety practices.
* Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires flexibility to work across a rotating roster comprising of various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. This role is essential in maintaining the operational flow of the kitchen, ensuring that chefs and kitchen staff have the necessary tools and a clean environment to prepare meals efficiently.
