Job Title: Backup and Recovery Engineer
As a seasoned professional in backup and recovery, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of data across large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configure, install, and optimize backup and recovery solutions to safeguard against data loss and ensure business continuity.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance backup and recovery processes, reducing costs and improving overall performance.
* Provide expert troubleshooting and resolution for complex backup and recovery incidents, minimizing downtime and data loss.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation for backup and recovery processes, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and adherence to best practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, storage, and database administrators, to design and implement comprehensive backup and recovery solutions.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in managing and optimizing backup and recovery systems for large-scale enterprise environments.
* Strong knowledge of enterprise backup tools, including Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, Commvault, or similar platforms.
* Preferred: Experience in managing data protection across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
