This role is part of our team that supports the day-to-day operations at a sports and golf facility.
**About the Job**
The job entails greeting guests, assisting them with their activities, taking bookings, answering inquiries, and providing equipment for hire. Additionally, it involves retail services such as food and apparel sales, conducting daily procedures like pool checks, stock ordering, and maintenance logging. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the pro-shop and its surroundings, assessing loan equipment upon return, promoting the workplace environment, and ensuring adherence to rules and regulations for guest safety.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Greet guests and assist with activities.
* Take bookings and answer general inquiries.
* Provide hire equipment (golf carts, clubs, range balls, etc).
* Undertake retail services (food and apparel).
* Conduct daily procedures including recorded pool checks, stock ordering, and logging of general maintenance requirements.
* Clean and maintain the Pro-Shop and environments (tables, counters, and benchtops).
* Assess loan equipment upon its return and attend to cleaning and maintenance requirements.
**Requirements**
To excel in this role, you should possess at least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a golf club or fitness center environment. A sound understanding of the game of golf is also essential. You must be able to engage effectively with customers across diverse fitness levels and interest groups, possess intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, and be physically fit with an enthusiastic approach to work.

We provide a unique opportunity for a young golfer to develop customer service skills. The role offers part-time hours with flexibility, allowing you to manage your time efficiently. Our compensation package includes hourly rates between $21.00 and $24.00 per hour.
**Availability and Schedule**
The position requires availability on a rostered basis, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays. Overtime pay and penalty rates are applicable for extended working hours.

**Additional Requirements**
A valid Police Clearance certificate and evidence of full vaccination against Covid-19 are mandatory. While not essential, a current First Aid qualification is preferred.
