Suburban Connect is a consortium of global leaders in tunnelling, comprising CPB Contractors, Ghella, and Acciona Construction. Together, we are delivering the southern section of tunnels for Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East – 16km of twin tunnels between Cheltenham and Glen Waverley, which will be Victoria's longest transport tunnel. This project is being delivered on behalf of the Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA).
SRL East, spanning from Cheltenham to Box Hill, is now being constructed. Tunnelling is set to commence in 2026, with trains expected to begin running by 2035. The works include 55 cross passages, two tunnel portal structures, two station box excavations, and various associated support tasks.
About The Opportunity
As Payroll Administrator You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing vital support to ensure employee remuneration is handled with efficiency and precision.
Responsibilities Include
Subcontract Letting, Administration and Close Out:
* Maintain and update procurement and subcontract registers as needed to facilitate management oversight of the commercial function.
Financial Administration
* Utilise JDE to set up and administer subcontractor payment claims and invoices within the agreed terms of our subcontracts.
* Maintain JDE to ensure that open commitments are kept to a minimum.
* Collect and submit accrual information monthly to enable accurate presentation of the Cost to Date position.
Project Controls / Forecasting
* Assist with the collection of daily site production data (incl dockets) so that the project can assess expected daily expenditure and the associated production levels.
Development Of Staff
* Assist wider project team to become familiar with the key payment and other financial requirements of subcontracts.
