Job Summary
This role is a key part of our school's operational team, responsible for overseeing administrative duties and ensuring a safe working environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Liaising with the OHS team to provide guidance and support.
* Implementing Department of Education Guidelines for Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management in Schools.
* Working closely with the school leadership team to develop a culture of health and safety.
* Scheduling activities in the OHS calendar and conducting regular reviews.
* Updating noticeboards and educating staff on OHS responsibilities.
* Carrying out workplace inspections and ensuring compliance with purchasing guidelines.
* Identifying hazards and performing risk assessments.
* Collaborating with the Facilities Team and teaching staff on maintenance and plant equipment registers.
* Developing induction procedures and maintaining training records.
* Supporting Emergency Management Plans and incident management.
* Coordinating traffic management on site.
