About The Role

This is a Permanent Full Time position at 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) within the Medical Imaging Department. We are seeking a highly enthusiastic, team oriented and experienced Administrator to join the Clerical Team. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of patient bookings for Medical Imaging including X-Ray, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Magnetic Resonance Positron Emission Tomography (MR PET).

What You'll Achieve
* You will work as part of a clerical team that rotates through front reception and a back-of-house clerical office
* You will make patient bookings and complete general administrative tasks to ensure timely access to medical care of RCH patients.
* You will answer telephone and email enquiries
* You will distribute reports and imaging to external referring clinicians
* You will electronically import and export imaging

Your Skills And Experience
* Experience using health computer applications including referral management systems, electronic medical records and patient demographic systems
* Demonstrated experience in a dynamic, fast-paced administration role preferably within the health sector
* Demonstrated commitment to providing quality service to patients and families
