About The Role

The Executive Assistant to General Manager sits within Business Economy and Activation Division and offers an exciting opportunity to provide high‐level executive support at the heart of City of Melbourne's operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of a General Manager's office, supporting strategic priorities and enabling impactful outcomes for our community.

Working in a fast‐paced, complex and highly visible environment, you will act as a trusted partner and "gatekeeper" to senior leadership anticipating needs, managing competing priorities, and ensuring seamless coordination across the organisation.

You'll be exposed to a wide range of projects, stakeholders and initiatives, providing you with a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful, city‐shaping work while operating with a high level of autonomy and professionalism.

* Manage complex and dynamic executive diaries, meetings and priorities
* Prepare high‐quality correspondence, reports, presentations and briefing materials
* Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes and follow‐up actions across senior stakeholders
* Lead and support administrative systems, processes and continuous improvement initiatives

What Your Experience Might Look Like
* Extensive experience supporting senior executives in a high‐volume, complex environment

* Proven ability to prepare high‐quality documents, reports and correspondence
* Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgment and drive outcomes
