Be the calm voice behind community safety
Join a team that safeguards lifestyle, wellbeing and amenity across one of WA's fastest growing regions.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for Ranger & Emergency Services, you will play a key role in delivering professional administrative support and high-quality customer service to the community. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing professional and empathetic customer service
* Managing enquiries relating to animals, infringements and compliance matters
* Processing dog registrations, multiple dog applications and impound fees
* Administering infringements, fines enforcement and court documentation
* Maintaining accurate records in Content Manager and CRM systems
* Liaising with veterinary clinics regarding animal welfare and registrations
* Supporting firebreak compliance correspondence
* Working closely with Rangers and internal departments
This is a fast-paced administrative role requiring strong attention to detail, resilience and excellent communication skills.
As the third fastest growing local government in WA, our community is changing. Sure there is an increase in number of people who are lucky enough to live, work or play here. But beyond the numbers, we recognise that how we do things needs to keep pace with community expectations.
We have worked with our community to develop aspirational targets and need your help to make this come true.
About You
Are you a confident and capable administrator who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment? Do you bring professionalism, strong attention to detail and a genuine customer focus to everything you do?

* Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage sensitive or complex enquiries
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High level computer literacy, including experience with electronic record-keeping systems
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
* A current C Class Driver's Licence
* A National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
This is a busy and dynamic position that requires resilience and sound judgement. You will be comfortable:
* Managing emotionally charged or sensitive customer conversations
* Handling high volumes of phone enquiries and system-based investigations
* Working within structured compliance and regulatory frameworks
Experience within Local Government, or knowledge of legislation such as the Dog Act, Cat Act or Bush Fires Act, will be highly regarded but is not essential.
