Education Governance Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as the Secretary of our Governance Board. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the board operates effectively and efficiently, while contributing to the strategic oversight of our organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and administrative skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will also be familiar with governance processes and the education sector, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with board members and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and meeting materials in advance of board meetings.
* Accurately record minutes during meetings, capturing key discussions, decisions, and action items.
* Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, including maintaining proper records of board documentation.
* Coordinate board schedules, meeting logistics, and communication among board members.
* Support the Chairperson in ensuring the board operates in line with our mission and values.
* Serve as a key point of contact for board-related administrative tasks.
