**About the role**
Our client is looking for a highly capable and self-motivated Administration Officer to take ownership of this exciting temporary role. The successful applicant will be accustomed to a fast paced and dynamic environment and will be used to working autonomously. Experience in the finance industry is desirable.
Reporting to the team manager, you will be responsible for being the face of the company, maintaining all reception duties, data entry, database management, and assisting with wider department requests. This role allows you to work in a team environment within a thriving organisation while offering you a fun and rewarding opportunity.
**Key Responsibilities**
Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
- Meet and greet all clients, guest and alert appropriate staff
- Answer and respond to all calls and general enquiries
- Ensure a tidy reception and office space at all times
- Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
- Updating and maintaining internal databases
- Responding to queries from fellow employees
- Set up of rooms for meetings/functions
- Ad hoc duties as required
**Skills and Experience**
- Great customer service
- High attention to detail
- Sound written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Competencies in MS Office products Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work discretely with sensitive and confidential information
- Positive, proactive and professional approach and willingness to "own the job" until completion
