Front Desk Coordinator Role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This key position involves providing exceptional service, managing front-of-house operations, and supporting administrative functions.
* Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
* Schedule appointments, manage patient referrals, and handle all front desk enquiries.
* Process payments, including Medicare and private billing.
* Manage daily banking and reconcile accounts at the end of each day, following up on outstanding accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
* Coordinate surgical bookings, interacting with theatres and patients as required.
* Prioritize tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations and provide administrative support to the medical team when needed.
* Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a medical reception or administration role, though this is not essential. We seek someone who is trustworthy, reliable, punctual, friendly, and possesses excellent customer service and communication skills. Initiative, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude are also highly valued.
