Humanitarian Response and Recovery Specialist
The Technical Advisor – Humanitarian Response and Recovery plays a crucial role in the strategic design and implementation of high-quality programs across various regions, ensuring they align with organizational goals and drive meaningful change in communities.
This specialist supports collaboration between internal teams, including acquisition and technical specialists, program management, corporate, as well as other World Vision offices and external partners.
The key responsibilities include:
* Developing business development action plans to strengthen partnerships with stakeholders, securing long-term funding for program sustainability.
* Engaging stakeholders to develop a pipeline of opportunities and secure funding.
* Providing technical writing for funding decisions, concept notes, grant and tender proposals, and project designs.
* Collecting data for performance reporting purposes.
* Providing expertise to improve project models and programming approaches.
* Strengthening organisational knowledge on humanitarian response and recovery through internal and external forums.
