Job Title: Operational Support Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Operational Support Specialist to join our team. This role will provide vital support in managing client and vendor relationships, ensuring timely recoveries, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple client and vendor relationships simultaneously
* Regularly follow up with vendors (written and verbally), providing answers to queries as necessary
* Liaise with the Audit Services Team to meet feedback schedules and presentation deadlines
* Explain detailed claims data and AP processes to vendors
* Provide estimates on recoveries to inform management forecasts
* Report and escalate any vendor issues promptly
* Consistently meet team KPIs and yearly financial targets set by the business
Requirements:
* Credit control or collections background, experience dealing with retail data movement or suppliers AP data
* Ability to work with large data sets to develop meaningful outcomes and present results coherently
* General understanding of AR & AP movements and associated workflows
* Strong documentation skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines, and advanced Excel skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication/negotiation skills
* Some experience using/navigating large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc. and knowledge skills using Microsoft Dynamics
