The Opportunity
We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Project Manager to lead the coordination of ECMO-RECOVERY+, a registry-embedded, multi-centre randomised trial evaluating a novel telehealth intervention for patients recovering from extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
You’ll oversee the end-to-end implementation of this impactful study across up to 8 sites and 152 patients, helping deliver a digital platform (OpenCare) that empowers patients and their care teams during the critical post-discharge transition.
The day-to-day operations of the ECMO-RECOVERY+ clinical trial include coordinating ethics and governance processes, supporting site setup and recruitment, developing protocols and training materials, and managing data capture and digital platform integration. You’ll liaise with clinicians, researchers, and tech providers, provide training and support to site staff, ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical standards, and contribute to reporting, publications, and stakeholder communications.
About You
You are an experienced clinical research professional with strong operational and stakeholder management skills. You enjoy bringing structure to complex projects and thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments.
You will have:
* A postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in clinical research, health sciences or public health
* Demonstrated experience managing multi-site clinical trials or health research projects
* Strong working knowledge of intensive care, critical illness, or hospital-based studies (preferred)
* Understanding of research ethics, GCP, and data integrity standards
