About the role
I am seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to work with me in our Fitzroy, VIC 3065 location on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a part-time role that will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative and secretarial support to my practice
What you'll be doing
* Manage and maintain patient records, appointments, and correspondence
* Liaise with patients to schedule appointments and handle inquiries
* Assist with the preparation of medical reports and documentation
* Collaborate with the medical team to ensure smooth clinic operations
* Provide general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and data entry
* Billing
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a medical secretary or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the medical team
* Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
* Proficient in using xestro medical software and standard office applications
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when handling patient information
You will be provided with a computer in order to work from home apart from consulting sessions which are typically 1-2 per week.
