If so, Emerge Associates is seeking a Junior–Mid Level Office Administrator to join our Melbourne office, with full-time or part-time options available.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team of professionals who are leaders in their field and passionate about what they do. Emerge Associates operates across landscape architecture, environmental and sustainability consulting, with established teams and capabilities in each discipline. We are an energetic practice of 70+ staff across Melbourne, Perth and Margaret River.
We are looking for someone who is well presented, organised, friendly and eager to learn. You will work closely with our existing administration team based in Perth, supporting the smooth operation of the office and helping our team deliver great work. While prior administration experience is ideal, we welcome applicants with 1–2 years' experience or transferable skills who demonstrate initiative and a willingness to grow.
What Will You Be Responsible For?
This role provides operations and administrative support primarily for the Environment and Landscape teams. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the office, including front-of-house duties, coordinating supplies and organising general maintenance
* Ensuring our workspace is welcoming, inclusive and professionally presented for staff and visitors
* Assisting teams across all three office locations with general administrative support
* Providing basic IT assistance and liaising with external IT providers
* Offering calendar management and meeting coordination support
* Assisting with scheduling external training, event registrations, travel bookings and vehicle management
* Helping organise social and team-building events
* Processing office-based expenses to support the Finance Team
Once these tasks are covered there is plenty of scope to expand the role according to your skills and interests. We would love to hear what your flair is, are you a social media expert? What You'll Need
* Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Confidence working with technology and a willingness to learn new software
* Experience with Adobe Acrobat (advantageous but not essential)
* Great communication skills, strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
