Your responsibilities will include: Greet all customers Handle enquires with a friendly and professional manner Manage a busy Emergency Department reception desk Answer and redirect calls Prepare admission paperwork Perform Health Fund Checks as required Ability to work in Fast paced environment Manage the collection of Emergency Department deposits, Health fund Excess/ co-payments and out of pocket fees Coordinate with staff from other departments Maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records Essential Criteria: Experience in an acute patient focused Healthcare facility/Hospital Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment Strong attention to detail Works well independently and within a team Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Flexible to work a variety of shifts- 7-day rotating rosters WebPas Hospital system experience (desired)
