The Assistantpany Secretary works alongside thepany Secretary to ensure that Iress Limited, as an ASX 200pany, meets its regulatory, reporting and disclosure obligations (as well as those of its subsidiaries). The successful candidate will work closely with the Chairperson, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and liaise appropriately with key regulators, legislators andernment officials to ensure thepany is meeting its regulatory obligations.
Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with:
1. Ensuring that board andmittee meetings are well organised, including preparing agendas, editing and loading board papers and drafting minutes of meeting and action lists
2. Maintaining statutory records
3. Preparing and lodging ASIC forms
4. Lodging approved market announcements with ASX's Market Announcement Platform
5. Liaising with thepany's share registry
6. Preparation for the listedpany's annual general meeting (including drafting the notice of meeting).
7. Developing and leading Iress' approach to subsidiary management, including providingpany secretarial support to Iress' Australian and international subsidiaries.
8. Drafting documents toply with Iress' statutory and reporting obligations
9. Contributing to the development of the internalernance framework, board andmittee charters and associated policies to reflect evolvingernance best practices, legislative and operational requirements
What you will bring:
10. Experience working in a listedpany secretarial environment, including providingpany secretarial support to Australian and international subsidiaries
11. Strong organisational and time management skills
12. Strongmunication and stakeholder management skills
13. Qualification in law orernance preferred, but not essential
14. Knowledge ofpany secretarial practices, Corporations Law, ASX Listing Rules and ASX Corporateernance Council's Corporateernance Principles and Rmendations
