Kennedys is recruiting an outgoing Office Assistant to join our friendly and social team in Melbourne. The position will work closely with and report to the Melbourne Office Manager and support the local facilities and secretarial teams as well as provide administrative support to the legal teams. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to work full time, on-site.
Key Responsibilities

* Collate and prepare briefs (digital/hard copy) and ShareFile links for counsel, experts, and external parties
* Handle photocopying, scanning, printing, archiving, retrieving, and court filing (electronic/in-person)
* Manage document/package delivery, collection, and data transfer to/from USB, CD, and other drives
* Maintain office cleanliness and restock printers and stationery
* Provide reception backup and assist with meeting room setup
* Manage mail handling and support Office Manager as needed
* Support secretarial team with data entry, electronic filing (iManage), and document preparation
* Draft basic correspondence using templates and transcribe dictations
* Assist with internal finance documentation and provide ad hoc support as needed
