The Position

Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure the effective and efficient operation of the organisation’s controlled document processes by leveraging best practices and technical expertise in all aspects of document control, while promoting and driving the adoption of the electronic document management system across the business.
2. Quality check all controlled documents for correct numbering, version control, status, format, and title.
3. Maintain the document control system and folder structures, including document registers.
4. Ensure controlled documents are issued and managed in accordance with specific procedures.
5. Expedite the flow of internal review and approval documentation.
6. Assist with the preparation of document control reports.
7. Support end-users in document control activities, including the use of templates, management of controlled documents, and distribution.
8. Perform regular reconciliations on controlled documents and resolve discrepancies.
Skills & Experience
* Relevant and recent experience as a Document Controller.
* Experience managing in-house document control systems.
* Experience with document management systems.
* Experience managing physical records is beneficial.
