About the Role
This position requires a skilled administrative professional to support a neurologist in a specialist medical practice. Some key responsibilities include:
* Managing general administrative tasks (data entry, scanning, filing)
* Scheduling and confirming appointments for patients
* Responding to telephone calls & enquiries in a professional manner
* Processing patient billing (invoicing and receipting)
The ideal candidate will have:
* A friendly, courteous and professional approach when interacting with patients and colleagues
* The ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
* Effective time management skills and multitasking capabilities
* Familiarity with Microsoft office software
Please note that this is a full-time or part-time position with variable hours (30-37.5 per week) and the successful candidate will need to provide a current Victorian driver's license for parking on site.
This role offers a quiet and calm working environment, assisting one specialist, with travel reimbursement provided for trips to Peninsula Private Hospital.
