- Provide a friendly and supportive response to all telephone callers and clients including retaining distressed clients on the telephone until a worker is available

**About SECASA**
The South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault (SECASA), a program of Monash Health, has the responsibility in the Southern Region of the Department of Human Services for:
- The provision and development of effective services to victim/survivors and associated people affected by sexual assault and family violence
- The provision and development of effective services for adolescents exhibiting sexually abusive behaviours
- The provision of public education and professional training on sexual assault and anti-violence issues
- Social planning and processes related to reducing societal violence

**About the Role**
To be part of the efficient running of the Service's Administration Department in order to ensure that SECASA clients receive the best possible service.
**About You**:
- Actively listens to clients to understand their requirements with appreciation of individual differences.
- Willingly shift focus when priorities or circumstances change
- Intermediate keyboard/typing/data entry skills
- Intermediate understanding of computer operations specifically suited to word processing systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher.
- Ability to maintain a professional disposition on the telephone and with clients in person, especially when dealing with those who are distressed.
