The Executive Office plays a pivotal role in contributing to ACCC/AER outcomes by providing high-level strategic and governance support to the ACCC. The Executive Support team sits within the Governance and Strategy team, and responsibilities include:
* Providing professional administrative support, including executive assistance to Commissioners and the Chief Executive Officer.
* Facilitating clearance and signature of correspondence and other documents for Commissioners and the Chief Executive Officer.
* Working closely with the ACCC's Executive Secretariat team to manage committee schedules, papers and diaries.
* Managing compliance with the agency's governance responsibilities as they relate to Commissioners and the Chief Executive Officer.
About The Role: The roles report to the Executive Officer and are within the Executive Support team providing high quality assistance to the ACCC Chair, Deputy Chairs, Commissioners, and other senior leaders including the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Office General Manager.
The Executive Assistant (APS5) role will be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra. You will:
* Provide a high standard of administrative support to up to two ACCC Commissioners, including diary management and assisting with Executive Office tasks as required.
* Anticipate requirements for meetings, speaking engagements, media and events for the Commissioners.
* Assist in document and clearance management, adhering to governance and workflow systems and processes.
* Book and manage meeting and travel arrangements.
* Drafting and proof-reading, printing and collating documents and communications, and preparing reports.
In addition to the above, as the Senior Executive Assistant (APS6) will be based in Sydney, and you will:
* Support the Executive Officer to the Chair in the management of the team and take on a leadership role in executive support tasks.
* Overseeing support for the Chair when the Executive Officer to the Chair is absent.
* Lead projects for the Executive Support team, including process improvements.
* Assistance in managing documents across the Executive Office and for signature by the ACCC Commissioners with adherence to systems and clearances.
* Coordinate the payment of invoices.
* Supervise and direct APS5 Executive Assistants.
About You: In order to succeed in these roles:
* Extensive experience as an Executive Assistant, working in a fast-paced environment, where you manage competing priorities.
* The ability to apply sound judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures, and coach others to do the same.
* The ability to incorporate strategic thinking to lead projects, identify gaps or improvements and propose suitable solutions.
* The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and teams across the agency.
* Demonstrated experience in providing a high standard of administrative support for Executives, including diary management, invoicing and travel.
* Clear, concise and articulate oral and written communication with a commitment to achieving high quality outcomes.

Salary: APS5 $89,946 - $95,374 (plus 15.4% superannuation), APS6 $99,562 - $111,590 (plus 15.4% superannuation)
