Administration Officer - Anatomical Pathology
We are seeking a highly motivated Administration Officer based within Anatomical Pathology. The role is responsible for organisation and administration duties including personal assistance to the Unit Director, reception duties, telephone enquiries and multidisciplinary meeting coordination.
Responsibilities
- Provide reception duties and handle telephone enquiries
- Coordinate multidisciplinary meetings and provide administrative support to the Unit Director
- Organise daily work with careful attention to detail and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to a cohesive team environment and work effectively under pressure
Essential Skills
- Ability to organise daily work in a careful and accurate way with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication; pleasant telephone manner and good spoken English
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Experience in office procedures, particularly in pathology, hospital or medical environments
- Computer proficiency with keyboard/word processing and MS Office suite
- Robust interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and use initiative while prioritising tasks
