Specialising in Cardiology, Orthopaedics, General Surgery and Cancer, the Hospital provides a comprehensive range of onsite medical and surgical services and delivering the highest standard in all areas of health care.John Fawkner Private Hospital has a long established tradition for providing quality healthcare to our local community, the veteran community and patients travelling from regional northwest Victoria.As an administration officer - Consulting Suites your responsibilities will include:Perform a broad range of administration duties including:Manage a busy reception desk and answering and redirecting callsSupport our Doctors and patients across our consulting suitesOrganise appointments and prepare admission paperworkDaily and monthly reportsPatient Billing and Receipting/Medicare rebateConduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visitsMaintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical recordsCoordinate with staff from other departmentsComplete other clerical tasks such as data entryEssential CriteriaAuthority to Work in Australia1-year administration experience, medical reception/administration desirableExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environmentStrong attention to detailExperience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Why Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
