About the role:

The Administration Officer provides essential administrative and project support to the Office of the Executive Director, ensuring the smooth operation of core functions and activities. The role manages key administrative tasks including inbox and calendar coordination for the Office of the Executive Director and the Executive Director, while supporting the Senior Branch Coordinator in delivering branch priorities and projects.

About you:

To be successful in this role you require the following skills

* Written Communication - Prepares briefs, letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language; ensures written communications contain necessary information to achieve their purpose; uses appropriate style and formats.
* Advanced Computer Skills - Uses a wide range of software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets; assists others with problem-solving on word processing and related applications.
* Interpersonal Skills - Sees things from other's point of view and confirms understanding; expresses own views in a constructive and diplomatic way; reflects on how own emotions impact on others.

Specialist Expertise :

* Experience working in a fast-paced executive support team desirable.
* Experience in regulatory and public policy work as well as knowledge of government processes would be beneficial.
* A sound understanding of the Victorian health system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems would be beneficial.
