**Selection Criteria**:
**SC1** Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to specific work functions.

**SC 2** Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders, including staff, students, families, School Council, external service providers, and the wider school community.

**SC3**Demonstrated high level administration skills and attention to detail with ability to effectively time manage, establish priorities and procedures and utilise technology within the role.

**SC4** Demonstrated knowledge and experience in respect to DE Human Resource management including a sound understanding of the VGSA and relevant legislation

**Role**:

- Objectives will, generally, be clearly defined; guidelines will be broad and day-to-day direction mínimal. Management responsibility extends to ensuring appropriate support levels are maintained across the school. Range 4 generally provides key support and timely advice to the leadership team and school council and liaises with the general school community, the Department and other government agencies and service providers.
- Specialised professional roles will carry a high level of independence and accountability where suitable scope is provided to achieve objectives.
- An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee¿s position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.

**Personal Assistant to Principal**

- Manage Principal calendar
- Manage Staff Handbook updates
- Manage Policy development
- Meetings - attend meetings, take minutes, and prepare/edit meeting agendas as required

**School Council**
- Preparation and distribution of SC documentation via TEAMS, minute taking and follow up, election processes

**Human Resources**
- Manage recruitment processes
- advertise roles, panels, interviews, documentation, appointments, personnel files
- Induction and exit of staff including creation of pigeon holes, distribution of equipment, staff uniform
- Manage staff leave processing in line with eduPay Paycalc
- Manage SLP processes

**Other Administrative Tasks**
- Visitor Reception
- phones, meet and greet, manage meeting rooms, administer first aid if required
- Assist and support Business Manager as required
- Catering as required by Executive Team
