**The role**
This Government agency is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join the team on a contract basis. It is a 6 months contract role with possible extensions. The role offers hybrid working arrangements (2 days from office and 3 days from home)
**Responsibilities**
- Work with project teams to understand business needs with the aim of ensuring the best possible information management frameworks are effectively utilized
- Promote the use of correct document and information management processes and procedures
- Provide guidance and training to staff on document and information management matters
- Manage and maintain electronic records and document management databases, repositories and filing systems
**Required**
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of document and information management systems and databases
- Experience using electronic document management systems within the Office365 environment
- Experience with web-based collaboration systems such as ProjectWise and TeamBinder
- Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills
