You Will
* Provide timely administrative support to assist the Development Planning team with day-to-day operations and workflow efficiency.
* Deliver helpful customer service by responding to telephone, counter and email enquiries about planning matters.
* Support the planning application process, including registering applications, preparing correspondence, and processing payments and refunds.
* Maintain accurate records, registers and documentation in line with Council processes and compliance requirements.
* Contribute to service improvement initiatives that strengthen the efficiency and quality of support provided to the team.
What You'll Bring/what We Are Looking For
We're looking for an organised and customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a busy team environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely support. You'll bring strong administrative capability, confidence working with a wide range of people, and the ability to manage records and processes efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service.
You'll Have
* Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant systems/software.
* Experience delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment to a diverse range of customers.
* Good administrative skills, with proven ability to maintain accurate records and manage information efficiently.
* Understanding of statutory planning, or experience in a planning, building or community support environment.
* Qualifications in administration, customer service or relevant practical experience in a similar role.
Pre-employment Requirements
* Current Victorian Drivers Licence

* Salary range $74,353.19 to $78,591.71 per annum plus super
* 26 weeks of paid parental leave - primary carer/4 weeks of paid parental leave - partner
