We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Travel Agent Administrative Assistant to support a busy travel agency behind the scenes. This is a non-sales role, ideal for someone who thrives in an administrative capacity and enjoys working in the travel industry without the pressure of selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all backend booking tasks, ie calling suppliers and processing bookings through the GDS.
- Conduct quote generation and itinerary planning without the need for sales involvement
- Perform cross-checking and ensure accuracy of bookings and travel documentation
- Provide administrative support to a high-volume travel consultant with a strong client base
- Liaise with travel providers, cruise lines, and other partners to organise seamless travel experiences
About You:
- 3+ years experience in the Travel Industry, ideally in the luxury space
- Confident using GDS and mid-office systems (Sabre, Galileo & Amadeus)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Self-sufficient and proactive - able to manage bookings and quotes independently
- Not focused on sales, but passionate about travel and support
