About this role:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient individual to join our fast-paced commercial kitchen team as a Kitchen Operations Assistant.
Key responsibilities:
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitisation throughout the kitchen area.
* Operate commercial dishwashers and utilise cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
* Manage waste removal, assist with deliveries, and restock supplies in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within a high-volume commercial kitchen environment.
* Demonstrated knowledge of occupational health and safety protocols, as well as food hygiene practices.
* The ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and work independently with minimal supervision.
Please note that due to the demands of the role, including the required working hours and continuous nature of the work, only individuals with full working rights will be considered. To be successful, you must be flexible to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, late nights and public holidays.
