We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, offering ambulatory, inpatient, and home and community-based services.Position: Administration Officer/TelephonistPart-time: 24 hours per weekClassification: HS1Employment Type: Permanent - OngoingLocation: Alfred HospitalBenefits: Great Staff Benefits!The DepartmentThe Alfred Health Emergency, Virtual Care, and Outpatients (EVO) Program provides emergency and pediatric clinical services across Alfred Health and other support services. The program includes services such as the GP Liaison Service, Health Information Service, Virtual Services (Telehealth, Timely Management of Chest Pain Pilot), Specialist Clinics Support, and Operations Support. The Outpatient Program offers non-admitted services including Specialist Consulting Clinics, GP Liaison, and referrals. These clinics provide scheduled medical, nursing, and allied health services for non-admitted patients, including pre- and post-hospital care, chronic disease management, and complex health issues, in conjunction with diagnostic services like pathology and imaging.The RoleThis position reports to the Referral-In Team Leader. As part of the outpatient administration team, the officer will perform administrative, reception, and clerical tasks to support daily clinic operations.
