**The Department**
The Monash & Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre (MAPrc) conducts clinical research projects with a focus on translation into clinical practice and the development of new treatments for people with serious mental illness. MAP-RC has approximately 65 staff and post graduate students and is based at The Alfred Hospital, Prahran. The centre has approximately 80 active projects in a range of domains including women's mental health, brain stimulation and neuroimaging, neuropsychology, autism spectrum disorders, psychopharmacology, service evaluation and service delivery research and health outcomes research.
**The Role**
The Student Administration Officer provides a full range of office administrative services to the MD Psychiatry Site Coordinator and the other members of the medical teaching program (MBBS/MD). Through providing support services to colleagues, this position plays a critical role in helping the medical teaching program (MBBS/MD) deliver its range of specialist, complex and high-volume services for students.
The position reports to the MED4100 Psychiatry Site Coordinator under general supervision and the MAPrc Research Manager for operational matters.
**Qualification & Experience Required**

- a tertiary qualification in a relevant field; or
- substantial relevant skills and work experience; or
- an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
