We are currently partnering with a growing Melbourne-based company seeking a Japanese-speaking Accounts & Administration Officer to join their friendly and collaborative team.
This role offers a balanced mix of accounting and administrative responsibilities, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a small team environment.
Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping with accuracy and efficiency
* Oversee invoicing and coordinate payments
* Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Process and monitor expenses
* Prepare financial data and reports
* Liaise with external accounting firms for additional support
* Compile and present reports to management
Administration & Office Support
* Provide administrative support to the Manager
* Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and services
* Manage office supplies, vendor communication, and invoice processing
* Support office operations and facilities
* Assist with reporting tasks for Head Office
* Coordinate logistics and operational activities
* Maintain company records and compliance documentation
About You
* Native or business level speaker of Japanese language
* Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping and office administration
* Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
* Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
* Valid long-term Australian work rights (PR, Partner Visa, or Australian Citizen)
* Available to work full‐time, Monday to Friday (2 days WFH)
Please note: This is a permanent position. Working Holiday and Student Visa holders are not eligible.
