Our client is a highly respected commercial construction company delivering large-scale projects across Perth. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Document Controller to join their team. As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient document management across multiple construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all project documentation across the full lifecycle using Aconex (essential).
Set up and maintain project folders, workflows and transmittal registers.
Issue, receive and process all drawings, RFIs, specifications, ITPs and technical documentation.
Prepare and send transmittals, ensuring all parties receive the correct, up-to-date information.
Maintain version control, revision tracking and quality checks on all documents.
Support Project Managers, Engineers and Design teams with submission deadlines.
Coordinate document flow between manufacturing, site teams and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with project document control standards and audit requirements.
Provide user support and basic training for project teams on Aconex processes.
Generate weekly document status reports and dashboards for leadership.
About You
Minimum 2 years experience in a document control role within the construction or engineering field.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Aconex and SharePoint.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work autonomously.
