We have an outstanding opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and high-calibre Personal Assistant to support the Unit Head and Director Clinical Operations Clayton Adult Mental Health Program.

**Mental Health Program**

The Monash Health Mental Health Program provides a range of community, bed-based and specialist services covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash Local Government Areas (LGAs) - a population of nearly one million. It has an operational budget of $130 million and employs approximately 820 EFT, representing over 1000 staff.

The Program has a number of clinical units including three adult units (Casey, Dandenong and Clayton), an Early in Life Mental Health Service (comprising infant, child, adolescent and youth services), Psychology Specialist Services (PsySS), a Drug & Alcohol service, and five PARC Units across the Monash Health Network Catchment. The Program has a 24hr Psychiatric Triage Phone service covering all ages. There is also a Gender Dysphoria Clinic which is based at Clayton Campus. Southern Synergy, a part of the Mental Health Program, supports the Program's research and quality improvement activities. The clinical service is supported by an aligned operational structure to enable the provision of high quality service through the creation of clinical-operational partnerships - to support staff, patients, carers and their families - as well as a strong professional structure that supports the governance of the health professional workforce. Together, we seek to deliver quality patient-centred health care and services that meet the needs of our diverse community.

**Drug & Alcohol and Addiction Services**

The Monash Health Drug & Alcohol Service (MHDAS) operationally reports through to the Mental Health Program and is committed to providing opportunities for change and growth by reducing drug use, the harms from drug use, improving physical and mental health, and reconnecting and or maintaining people's connections to their family and the community. The principle catchment areas are the Cities of Greater Dandenong, Casey and the Shire of Cardinia with sites located in Dandenong, Pakenham, Cranbourne and Berwick. The service employs approximately 75 EFT staff and budget of approximately $12.5 million. We provide a wide range of services including:

- Public Intoxication Health Response Trial
- Community Residential Withdrawal
- Primary Health Clinic
- Needle Syringe Program - fixed site, outreach and syringe dispensing machines
- Mobile Overdose Response & Mobile Drug Safety
- Proactive Overdose Response Initiative & Naloxone Subsidy
- Aboriginal Metropolitan 'Ice' Partnership
- Youth Supported Accommodation and Youth Outreach
- Peer Led Network Trials and
- Assessment, Counselling and Non-resi withdrawal (SECADA)

We employ multidisciplinary clinicians across these wide ranging services including Peer Workers with lived experience.

The Southern Dual Diagnosis Service operationally reports to the DCO of the Monash Health Drug & Alcohol Service and is a resource for all MHDAS staff offering support in further development to recognise and respond effectively to persons presenting with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.

**About the role**

Based in Dandenong, your primary focus will be to provide operational and administrative support to the Unit Head Monash Health and Director Clinical Operations of the Moonash Health Drug & Alcohol SErvices. This role will provide a professional customer-focussed service within a framework of service improvement, legislative compliance, and the iCARE values of Monash Health. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Day-to-day diary management, including travel if required;
- Liaising with Monash Health Management and some external government bodies;
- Liaising with unit heads, operational directors, managers and team leaders within the MHP;
- Liaising with medical, nursing and allied health clinicians;
- Coordinating room bookings and uploading of relevant information to intranet;
- Meeting coordination including venue booking, agenda preparation and minute taking;
- Preparing high quality reports, presentations and documents;
- Maintaining hardcopy and electronic filing system;
