The Administrative Officer is a pivotal member of the School of Health and Biomedical Science, providing high-level administrative support across a wide range of functions. Working closely with both academic and professional staff, the role is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and reviewing administrative processes that underpin the School's day-to-day activities. Due to the varied and dynamic nature of the position, it requires a proactive approach, strong self-management skills, and the ability to balance independent responsibilities with collaborative team contributions. Excellent communication, relationship building and negotiation skills with the ability to work collegiately with academic and professional staff, students, and external clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience in providing excellent customer service. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex rules and handle confidential issues with sensitivity. Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
