Responsibilities
* Support senior leaders and keep daily work running smoothly.
* Manage key tasks and keep teams on track.
* Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to senior leaders.
* Manage busy diaries, screen calls and respond to urgent enquiries.
* Prepare clear reports, briefs and meeting papers for committees.
* Coordinate meetings, travel and events with careful planning and follow-up.
* Maintain accurate records and systems while supporting efficient office processes.
Qualifications
You do not need a formal qualification. Relevant experience in a similar role or government setting is highly regarded.
* Strong administrative skills and knowledge of office systems.
* Good communication skills with clear and simple language.
* Proven problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
* Confidence using digital tools and supporting others to use them.
* Proficient in the use of the Office 365 suite, including but not limited to Outlook, SharePoint and MS Teams.
