Additionally, you will facilitate group sessions and work alongside your team members to support day-to-day operations of the Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) service environment.This role is ideal for someone who is able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, including clinical staff and alongside team members who have lived and living experience of mental health challenges. Most importantly, you share our vision of delivering exceptional service and achieving the best possible outcomes for participants.PARCs operate 24/7 on a rotating roster and penalty rates apply for afternoon and weekend hours.Please click here to download a copy of the position description to see further details relating to this role.About the serviceBroadmeadows Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) is a sub-acute, home-like service dedicated to providing practical mental health support in our community.This is a wholistic 24/7 program, delivered in partnership with the Area Mental Health Service, offering both clinical and psychosocial support to people who are becoming unwell, or as an additional support to strengthen their gains whilst transitioning from an inpatient setting back home.Our multidisciplinary recovery teams are creative,motivatedand focused on ensuring positive experiences for participants and their loved ones.All our recovery services value cultural diversity, support and create opportunities for recovery, value peer participation and leadership and are underpinned by evidence-based best practice.To be successful in this role, you will need:Minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health, AOD or Disability OR Tertiary qualification in social science or related disciplineDemonstrated experience in the field of mental health and/or disabilityAn understanding of the biopsychosocial model of mental health and social inclusion principlesEvidence of the right to work in AustraliaNDIS Worker Orientation Module CertificateEvidence of, or a willingness to undergo a National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children CheckFor a confidential discussion about the role, we encourage you to contact Amanjot Sandhu on0481 477 480 or email asandhu1@wellways.org.Wellways Australia Limited is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
