Mechanical Assembler
Our rapidly growing manufacturing client based in Boronia are hiring skilled Mechanical Assemblers! We are looking for candidate who can confidently handle heavy components — including operating cranes to lift items up to ~500kg. You'll prep machinery for assembly, manage fabrication tasks, and deliver high-quality mechanical builds.
Currently offering Monday to Friday shifts 6:30am to 2:40pm with OT if required and flexible working conditions. Electrical assembly experience is considered a bonus; however mechanical assembly experience is most important.
Pay rate is $50+ per hr, + tool allowance, dependant on experience
Must be able to fulfil the following tasks:
Interpret blueprints and diagrams to assemble machinery accurately
Safely operate an overhead crane or hoist for heavy part handling
Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools
Fabricate and prep components per specifications
Measure, cut, and fit raw materials precisely
Report any quality or safety concerns promptly
Work well independently and in team settings
Mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity essential
