About the Role
This key role will provide vital support to our Administration and Catering Manager, helping with tasks such as preparing catering quotations, managing office stock, data entry, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the management team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Catering & Events:
o Prepare accurate and timely catering quotations using software applications like Foodstorm.
o Assist with deliveries and other hands-on catering duties as required.
* Administration:
o Manage office supplies and perform general administrative tasks.
o Handle data entry for back-office systems and assist with report compilation.
* Customer Service & Relationships:
o Respond to high-volume phone and email inquiries from group bookings in a professional manner.
o Build strong relationships with clients and hospital staff through excellent communication skills.
* Team Support:
o Collaborate with the management team to achieve daily goals and objectives.
o Provide clear instructions to kitchen and delivery staff to maintain a high standard of catering.
Requirements:
* Background in customer service and hospitality with experience in administrative roles.
* Proven knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
