OverviewPARED Victoria founded Harkaway Hills College in 2016.
Since then, Lysterfield Lake College is the latest school to be associated with the PARED Victoria Foundation, starting in 2022.Lysterfield Lake College is a new independent school for boys located in Narre Warren North that teaches the Catholic faith.

The College offers primary education to boys in Year 3 through to Year 8 in 2025, increasing a further year level annually beyond 2026 to 2029.The personalised system of education at PARED Schools ensures that each child is encouraged to become the best person he or she can be.
It facilitates the partnership between parents and school to ensure the children receive a holistic and efficacious education.Support staff, including Administration Officer, are required to embrace this philosophy and help to maintain a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for teachers and students.
They are expected to model professionalism and actively support the school's values, with a view to contributing to the formation and flourishing of students through various administrative and technical tasks.All staff are expected to actively support the school's Christian ethos and the school's Mission and Vision Statements and values.The RoleThis is a part time – 2 days per/week from 8:00am to 4:00pm - Administration Officer role – commencing in T4-2025 school year at Lysterfield Lake College.
Starting 2026 this role will move to 5 days per week during school terms with a limited number of additional days during school holidays (2.5 weeks per year in total).
The successful candidate will;Have experience working within an administrative / general reception environment in an education setting is highly regardedHave outstanding organisation skills to proactively manage the College calendar, events, excursions and staff activities with an attention to detail and a high level of independenceBe able to demonstrate a highly motivated, practical and hands on approach to all aspects of administrative operations and a deep commitment and willingness to step in where required and operate collegially as part of a small team to ensure that all activities are carried out.Have existing qualifications administering first aid or be willing to undertake training to achieve the required level of skills to champion first aid practices within the college.Have excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage with staff, students and families in a highly positive and professional manner.Have experience working with Microsoft applications and be comfortable with the use of technology to support the productivity, record keeping and activities within the Administration Office.Have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint is required to support productivity and record keeping activities.Have the ability to apply practical skills to problem solving in a discreet environment and experience managing highly sensitive and confidential information.Have a valid Working With Children Clearance and be highly committed to the organisations policies and procedures to ensure a superior Child Safe culture is a mandatory condition of employment.Key Areas of ResponsibilityFront Desk Reception: Greet students, parents, staff, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner; manage sign-ins and visitor logs.Phone and Email Communication: Answer incoming calls, direct queries to the appropriate staff, and respond to emails promptly and professionally.Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to school leadership and teaching staff, including data entry, filing, photocopying, and mail distribution.Student Services: Assist with student attendance records, late arrivals, early departures, and first aid or sick bay duties where required.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential student, staff, and school records in accordance with school policies and privacy regulations.Calendar and Appointment Management: Coordinate appointments, meetings, and bookings for school facilities and staff as needed.Communication and Correspondence: Prepare and distribute newsletters, notices, and other school communications.Resource Management: Monitor and order office and school supplies and liaise with suppliers when necessary.Support for School Events: Assist with the coordination and administration of school events, excursions, and parent meetings.Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to school policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including visitor management and emergency procedures.PARED Victoria is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection.
