About the Role

The Clinical Nurse Consultant will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team in a leadership role, focused on delivering high-quality patient care and promoting best practices within the organization.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for client care, and excellent communication abilities. Your ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and provide guidance to junior staff will be highly valued.

* Relevant registration with AHPRA is mandatory.
* A minimum of 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse with expertise in Mental Health is required.
* A post-graduate qualification in a relevant field is highly desirable.
* Experience working in perinatal mental health or eating disorders is preferred.
* You must have the ability to implement and provide education and training for clinical staff.
* Comprehensive knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practice, recovery-oriented practice, national standards, and relevant frameworks including Safewards is essential.
* Your knowledge and experience in implementing service improvement and quality projects will be valuable assets.
* You should be able to provide clinical supervision and possess exceptional customer service skills.

* National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
