The division brings together two hospitals undergoing significant change and development and forms the basis for continued growth in demand in our community. The surgical and interventional services agenda is a major priority and will require significant and senior attention as we recover from the two years of Covid 19 impact. There has been an evolution of the reform and recovery programs over the past year with the waves for the pandemic and the increasing size of the elective surgery challenge
**About the Role**
As a senior member of the surgical team, the Surgical Recovery and Reform Partner will support the delivery of the surgical program recovery and reform program with a priority of the orthopaedic model of care.
Working closely with the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, General Managers, Program Directors and Clinical Leads, you will provide project leadership, structure and discipline to support the senior leaders to deliver surgical recovery and reform initiatives in alignment with organisational priorities and the implementation of Monash Health's Surgical Recovery and Reform Program.
**About You**:
- Highly developed analytical skills and ability to identify and present opportunities and options for transformation, including detailed and effective financial modelling
- Proven project management expertise delivering transformation projects with competing priorities and a broad range of stakeholders
- Extensive experience in delivery of complex change projects and effective change management and engagement in the healthcare industry
- Highly developed skills in influencing without authority to achieve project outcomes
- Extensive experience facilitating cross functional teams to deliver change
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively influence and build sustainable and successful relationships with people and teams across all levels of an organisation.
**What you need**:
- Relevant undergraduate tertiary qualification is required
- Relevant postgraduate tertiary qualification is desirable
- Project management / Change management certification is required
- Certification in process redesign and improvement science is desirable
- Current and satisfactory employee Working With Children Check as per Working With Children Act 2005
- Current and satisfactory Police Check (must also comply with Aged Care Act 1997 Accountability Amendment Principles 2012 if working in Aged Care settings)
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
