The Opportunity:
The Risk Executive Support Analyst provides high-level executive support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) while contributing to the delivery of Enterprise Risk Management objectives. This role combines responsibilities for managing the CRO's schedule, communications, and stakeholder engagement with analytical and coordination tasks that support and strengthen risk governance, frameworks, and operational risk practices.
This is located in Melbourne.
To do this successfully you will:
* Manage the Chief Risk Officer's calendar, communications, and stakeholder engagement, including scheduling meetings and preparing agendas.
* Prepare briefing materials and documentation for CRO meetings and coordinate travel arrangements when required.
* Assist with data gathering, analysis, and preparation of risk reports for senior leadership and regulatory purposes.
* Maintain and update risk frameworks, policies, and procedural documents, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
* Coordinate governance activities, including scheduling risk committee meetings, preparing supporting documentation, and tracking action items to completion.
* Support Enterprise Risk team initiatives such as planning workshops, team-building activities, and strategic sessions to foster collaboration and alignment.
Successful applications will have:
* Executive assistant and general support experience within the Australian Financial Services Industry
* Exposure to risk management within Financial Services, especially in respect to risk reporting and governance
* Broad awareness of the regulatory environment and oversight impacting AIA Australia
* Work collaboratively with other relevant teams and embedded first line staff
* Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and engagement skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Strong data skills and attention to detail
* Critical thinking, analytic and innovative mindset
