Job Description:
Our team is seeking a skilled Debt Recovery Specialist to support our Enforcement and Support Services branch.
This is an ongoing, full-time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service. The VPS Grade 3 salary range is $73,842 - $89,661, plus superannuation.
We are responsible for managing the end-to-end infringement system in Victoria.
* Perform administrative and daily functions relating to the day-to-day operations of the department.
* Research and extract data and intelligence through various IT systems, including VIEW, GlobalX, VicRoads Driver Licence System, ASIC, and relevant mercantile systems, as well as publicly available information, to assist in preparing comprehensive debtor dossiers on individuals and companies with outstanding fines.
* Manage elements of targeted enforcement initiatives, campaigns, and activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Key requirements include:
* Knowledge of, or ability to learn and understand, the functions and operations of Enforcement and Support Services, with an understanding of the end-to-end fines system.
* Understanding of, or ability to learn and understand, the legislation applicable to debt, specifically the Fines Reform Act 2014.
* Demonstrated experience in VIEW, GlobalX, VicRoads DLS, ASIC, and relevant mercantile IT systems.
