At Victoria University, our aim is to be a global leader in dual‐sector learning and research by 2028. Join us on the journey and help us achieve our strategic drives embedded in our Strategic Plan 2022‐2028: Start well, finish brilliantly. One of the drivers "Thriving place to Study and Work" will enable us to continue to create places that our students and staff love to belong and feel immense pride.

About The Team

The Centre of VU Transitions (CoVUT) plays a vital role in supporting student success at Victoria University by delivering high‐quality English language, foundation, and pathway programmes to both onshore and offshore students. The team works across multiple international locations, particularly with partner institutions in China, to ensure a seamless and supportive student experience from entry through to progression into further study.

CoVUT is a collaborative and globally connected team, working closely with academic staff, professional teams, and international partners to deliver programmes that meet rigorous academic and compliance standards. The team is committed to continuous improvement, innovation in delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across different time zones and cultural contexts.

Joining this team offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful international education programmes, be part of a supportive and inclusive work environment, and engage in meaningful work that supports student success and global engagement.

About The Role

This role is central to the effective delivery of offshore programmes within the Centre of VU Transitions, providing high‐quality administrative and operational support to ensure a seamless student and staff experience.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate student records, coordinating assessment and academic documentation, and supporting the administration of programmes delivered in partnership with offshore institutions. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of work while ensuring compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with academic staff, coordinators, and international partners, you will play a key role in facilitating communication, supporting recruitment and onboarding of offshore teaching staff, and contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes. This is a dynamic position suited to someone who thrives in a fast‐paced, globally connected environment and enjoys balancing multiple priorities.

Compensation and Working Hours

* Salary: $79,135 – $90,899 per annum
* Employment Type: Full time continuing
* Hours: 36.75 hours per week
* Location: City Tower campus

About You

You will bring a strong administrative background, ideally within a tertiary education or similarly complex, compliance‐driven environment. Experience working with student systems, managing detailed records, and coordinating across multiple stakeholders will be highly regarded.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail‐oriented, and able to manage competing priorities with confidence. You demonstrate sound judgement, take initiative in problem‐solving, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with diverse stakeholders, including international partners.

This role will appeal to someone who enjoys working in an internationally focused environment, values meaningful work in education, and is motivated by contributing to student outcomes and global engagement initiatives.

Child Safe Organisation

The University is a Child Safe organisation. You will be required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing employment.

We will ensure that we respect our Indigenous voices and commit to sustainable Protecting Country. We will take leadership responsibility, in all that we do, to improve the health and well‐being of our local and global communities, and the planet that we share.
