Are you a dynamic hospitality leader with a passion for Food & Beverage and a solid grounding in Rooms Division operations? We're seeking an Executive Assistant Manager to join our team and help drive excellence across all areas of our hotel – with a particular focus on F&B operations.
About the Role
As Executive Assistant Manager, you'll be at the heart of our hotel's daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences. You'll lead by example, support your team across departments, and play a key role in financial and strategic planning. You will develop and execute a bespoke guest experience journey and authentic moments to create strong brand connections. You are passionate about connecting with the community and embedding the hotel within the neighbourhood.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments, ensuring smooth performance and outstanding guest service.
* Lead with a hands-on approach – supporting the front desk, restaurant, and maintenance when needed.
* Be available on-site and off-site for issue resolution and crisis management.
* Ensure compliance with safety, duty of care, and operational standards.
* Support the General Manager with budgeting, forecasting, financial admin, and audits.
* Deliver timely and accurate reporting across departments, proactively managing payroll costs and COGs.
* Participate in revenue, marketing, and F&B meetings to drive strategy and execution.
* Plan property improvements and assist in preparing detailed CAPEX documentation for stakeholder approval.
* Uphold strict food safety standards and support kitchen and F&B teams in quality assurance.
* Manage rosters and timesheets aligning to HIGA guidelines and payroll deadlines.
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management processes.
* Foster team communication through daily briefings and monthly meetings.
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across all hotel areas.
* Ensure brand standards are upheld across Rooms and F&B, delivering on brand promises.
* Oversee the planning and execution of conferences and events, ensuring coordination and client satisfaction.
* Champion the use of TFE systems.
About You
* A passion for Arts, Style, and Culture with a genuine flair.
* Proven experience in Food & Beverage operations, Conference and Events, and Rooms Division.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Financial acumen with experience in reporting and budgeting.
* Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Familiarity with hotel systems and technology platforms.
