An exciting and unique opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the First Peoples - State Relations Group as Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Traditional Owner Relationships and Heritage Branch.
The responsibilities of the First Peoples - State Relations Group include nation leading work in the areas of cultural rights, self-determination, treaty and truth - an extensive program of priority work with First Peoples, including building ongoing, just and respectful relationships between self-determining First Peoples and the State as a priority focus.
About you
- Demonstrated experience to perform high quality support activities to senior executives, including proof-reading and processing briefs, correspondence and products for senior executives and the Minister
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Highly developed communication skills
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
- Understanding of the processes, policies and procedures within government and public sector accountability, with proficiency in a range of software programs such as Outlook, HP Content Manager, FinCloud, Adobe and Microsoft packages
