Role Overview:
About the Position
We are seeking an experienced catering assistant to provide exceptional service to both internal and external clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen areas, food preparation equipment, and facilities are kept clean and hygienic in accordance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Catering Support: Assist with prompt delivery of refreshments for client meetings and conferences;
* Customer Service: Provide a high level of service to internal and external clients;
* Housekeeping: Regularly check and sanitise meeting rooms after use;
* Stock Management: Maintain stock levels of kitchen supplies, cleaning chemicals, and catering equipment, storing them safely and distributing efficiently when required.
Requirements:
* A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate;
* Possess a general knowledge of food and beverages;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
* 2 – 3 years' experience in a similar role within a professional services environment;
* Hospitality/catering experience preferred.
